TNG Admin quirks
The following are some known quirks in the TNG Admin side behavior and how to deal with them.
Change to LDS Settings
If you change the Setup >> Configuration >> General Settings >> Privacy >> Show LDS Data, the change will not take effect until after you Logout and Login again.
Reason for this behavior as provided by Darrin is that all the user rights variables are inserted into the "session", and the session is only killed and reset when you log out and back in again.
Change to Template Settings
A change to the Setup >> Configuration >>Template Settings will not change the left side bar and the top banner frames.
You need to do a page Reload or Refresh in order to get the new template in Admin.
Change to Language Settings
A change to a different language on the public side of your TNG web site, while reflected in the Admin main frame will not be reflected in the left side bar and the top banner frames.
You need to do a page Reload or Refresh in order to get the new language display in Admin.
Login Page
When the Login page is displayed within the Main frame often after you login, the public page you were on in another tab is what is returned.
You need to click the Admin Home and reload the Admin page.
