Purpose of the Mod

Calendar with exact dates only

Without this mod, calendar.php and anniversaries.php contain events for which no exact date is known. For example, when the date of the event is "BEF 1900", the event will come up as having its anniversary on December 31, 1899. If an individual was born before 1900, we don't conclude that he was born on December 31, because it is just as likely that he was born on February 14 or July 1.

The mod makes the calendar only contain exact dates.

It excludes dates with the date modifiers that you want to exclude. Default is AFT (after), BEF (before), FROM (from) and BET (between).

You can select the events you want to see in calendar.php. Default is: birth, death, marr (marriage). If the LDS events ar enabled, the default also includes: bapt(baptism), endl (endowment) and seal (sealing).

You can also select the events you do not want to see in anniversaries.php.

With former versions, you cannot modify the defaults.

Before installing, it is best to make a backup copy of the files that will be modified by this mod.

Installation

1. Uninstall and delete previous version of this mod (if installed)
2. Download the appropriate zip file as shown in the mod summary in the upper right corner of the page.
3. Extract the file from the downloaded zip file into the mods folder or FTP the extracted file to your mods folder.
4. Follow the normal automated installation for Mod Manager, as shown in the example Mod Manager - Installing Config Files to install the mod.

Upgrade

When upgrading to a newer version

• Uninstall and eventually Delete the current Mod.
• Proceed as for an installation with the new Mod.

In the event of a problem

• Try using the Mod Manager Remove capability
• Copy the backup of the affected files back to your TNG directory
• If the problem persists, open an issue in the TNG Community Forums.
